Furthermore, the area around the equipment should be dry and away from flammable and explosive materials. The ground should be flat and stable to minimize vibration.

 

Second, fuel management directly impacts power generation efficiency. Use clean, dry natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to prevent impurities from clogging the combustion system. Regularly inspect gas lines and connections for leaks and adjust the gas supply system within the manufacturer's recommended fuel pressure range. Poor fuel quality can cause carbon deposits and increased engine wear.

 

Third, proper startup and operation procedures are essential. Before starting, check the engine oil, coolant, and air filter to ensure they are at normal levels. When starting a cold engine, it's recommended to preheat for a few seconds before applying a load to avoid sudden high-load operation that could cause engine overheating. During extended periods of inactivity, drain the fuel system and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent corrosion and circuit degradation. Additionally, regularly inspect the spark plugs, ignition system, and exhaust system to ensure combustion efficiency.

 

Finally, safe operation is crucial. Operators should be familiar with emergency shutdown procedures and have fire-fighting equipment readily available. If the generator is operating at high load for extended periods, monitor the cooling system to prevent overheating and damage.
